There’s nothing new so far today on the conference realingment issue, but we do have a couple of coaching announcements to pass along.
–Dean Taylor, a Hall of Fame football coach who spent 26 years at Sartell, has been named the coach at St. Cloud Cathedral. He took three Sartell teams to the Prep Bowl and won a state title in 1994. After a battle with cancer that cost him his right arm, Taylor has been on the coaching staff at St. John’s University for eight of the last 10 years.
–Chris Swansonn has been named baseball coach at Rosemount. He was an assistant coach at Edina for six years before joining the Rosemount staff four years ago.
