Minneapolis North girls’ basketball coach Faith Patterson is leaving the Lady Polars program to take the same position at DeLaSalle, a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed. During Patterson’s 14 seasons at Minneapolis North, her teams qualified for 10 state tournaments and won championships in 1998, 1999, 2003, 2004 and 2005. They finished second four times, including last season.

DeLaSalle, a Catholic School located in Minneapolis, reached the state tournament in 2006 and finished runner-up in Class 3A in 2007 and 2008.

Patterson left a Lady Polars program that got contributions from five eighth-graders this season, including three on the Class 3A all-tournament team.
