I think Amy would be a tremendous choice for the White House. She keeps her promises, and even in the short amount of time that she's been in Washington, she's actually gotten things done. A breath of fresh air in Washington. P.S. What William Mitchell reputation? I think Amy went to Yale or something.

I love this term "moderate". First, it's viewed as some universal good. Second, Democrats simply imply they're moderates (Walz, Klobuchar, Obama, etc) and they're worshippers repeat it. Before declaring them "moderate", how about you look at their records. They're far left. Nutty left.

Joan, I haven't found Klobuchar the least bit creative, innovative, or particularly intelligent. She's a more leftist version of Mark Dayton. That's pretty bad.

"Sensible"? "Moderate"? How? Klobuchar is a liberal Democrate who toes the party line on everything who got elected because old people like her dad. Whether you prefer moderates or not (I don't), Norm Coleman is a moderate. If Klobuchar is presidential timber, there are 534 others in Washington who are as well.

I think it says volumes about the Senator that already she is mentioned in such an article. Even though she hasn't been in the senate too long, her sensible and moderate record has gotten her recognized by the national press, which is good for her and good for Minnesota.

It sounds like there are those who feel that a woman, especially a Democrat, is the ultimate candidate.

It's worked so well for Hillary. Let's see how well it may work for a lesser candidate.

Typical that a guy would be challenged by an intelligent woman and try to disregard her based on her looks. Oh, how prevalent sexism is.
