Fierce competition

The number of blogs out there is mind-boggling. The excellent site www.technorati.com, which tracks these things, indicates there are more than 100,000 blogs started every day. So I understand: You have choices. The only thing I ask is that you consider the 57 million blogs being tracked as of October 2006 (by technorati), and you make a conscious decision to try to look at this one each and every day. Is that so hard? Randball doesn’t think so. Other blogs — obviously none affiliated with startribune.com — are boring. To prove it, just look at that kitten. That kitten doesn’t want to hear about how you brushed your teeth this morning. That kitten wants funny, witty sports banter — just like you. That kitten is practically begging for Randball.
