Kessel has surgery, agent says

Ex-Gophers hockey player Phil Kessel underwent cancer-related surgery, his agent told the Boston Globe. A Boston TV station reported Monday night that Kessel has testicular cancer.

Right now, some poor editor has the serious displeasure of having to tell Sid that the Star Tribune WILL NOT run a note in his column about how this terrible affliction is Kessel’s punishment for leaving the U early.
