Kudos to Reuters for picking up a story about the excellent website www.WiiHaveAProblem.com. If you haven’t been to the site yet, you must check it out. People are breaking TVs and injuring themselves with the Nintendo Wii. No, really, they are. The big problem, in our books: This new generation of game players is completely soft. They grew up on couches and bean bag chairs, in front of laptops and surrounded by multiple forms of wireless communication. Many of them have not only never touched a real football, but they also could not even correctly identify our mother star, the sun. Oh, you mean throwing this controller has consequences? Yes, Jared, it does.
Update: Thanks to Local Quipster for pointing out Tigers pitcher Joel Zumaya is not immune to the strange injuring powers of video games. Fret not, Joel: You’ll always be my Guitar Hero.
