That’s not the A.I. we know and love, is it?

When you’re trying to define exactly who someone is — really get to the essence, to the core — you have to start somewhere. Who is this “A.I.,” anyway, we wanted to know. And so we turned to dictionary.com. What better place to find a literal meaning, right? As it turns out: Not so much. Definition No. 1 of Ai: “a three-toed sloth, Bradypus tridactylus, inhabiting forests of southern Venezuela, the Guianas, and northern Brazil, having a diet apparently restricted to the leaves of the trumpet-tree, and sounding a high-pitched cry when disturbed.” It didn’t get any better from there. Maybe it’s time to revisit this whole trade business.
