We need to try that more often: Not only did the Colts defeat the Bengals 34-16, but three Peyton-to-Marv TDs produced an unlikely fantasy win for a certain someone. OK, let’s try it again: We’re hoping that whoever is making that hideous show combining reality TV and “Grease” comes to his or her senses. It’s not the one that anybody wants.

Look away, Gophers fans: The Wisconsin men’s hoops team has risen to No. 4 in the AP poll after big victories over Marquette and Pitt in the past week. The Gophers are about 10 consecutive victories from receiving votes.

Subterfuge circumvented: Our guy Kevin Seifert sifted through the mess of the Vikings QB situation and has two sources indicating rookie Tarvaris Jackson will start Thursday against the Packers. We now fully expect this to be the highest-rated game of the season in this market.

“He’s a jerk for what he’s trying to do”: No, that’s not someone else mad about that “Grease” show. It’s Nuggets coach George Karl, ticked at Knicks coach Isiah Thomas for his actions following Saturday’s brawl. Would anybody here like to see these two guys duke it out and settle things?
