Sons of Shawn Kemp: A veritable blogging army
Posted on January 24th, 2007 – 3:58 PMBy Michael Rand
Must be, right? Shawn was famous around the NBA for, well, blocking shots as well as dunking balls. And we’ll stop right there. But there must be, what, a dozen guys blogging at The Sons of Shawn Kemp. In any event, he/they remind us of a post near and dear to our hearts from a few weeks back, only now there’s a follow-up: The NBA All-Star cheerleaders have been selected! Representing the Wolves: Sally (pictured below). Congratulations to everyone, voters and dancers alike. No, really. Job well done.

Randball,
The Greatest Posting of all time since Randball starting. Absolutely brilliant. It takes me back to the greatest story of all time regarding those two Carolina Panther cheerleaders.
NOW, this is the news.
My favorites are the ones from New Jersey and Indiana. Who said the Eastern Conference was weak?
I must agree with Kevin. The East squad is loaded with talent. In fact I bet they dive for loose balls on the floor harder than the West squad.
Sons of Shawn Kemp…outstanding!
I always admired (if admired was the best word esp. in randy high school) but those of you who ran “obsure events” like cross country surely noticed a phenom from which I never fully recovered..that is, there are NO cheerleaders in the woods, no cheerleaders at all at cross country (and often track) events at all.
Now playing football I saw many nice bottoms draped in my school colors, but cross country and skiing and many other sports are/were much harder than football, but no cheerleaders there. Alas, I had a girlfriend who was a cheerleader and though that didn’t last, back then I felt like some guy named “Brady” in some long off future time, and in my dreams it seemed he did ok.
