Melo snubbed: Carmelo Anthony, the NBA’s leading scorer and chief fisticuffsman, was left off the all-star team. Imagine if he and KG got into a fight … they’d run into each other sooner halfway around the world after 
backpedaling than they would on the court.
Wild suddenly road warriors: Two goals from Marian Gaborik always help. Our guy Michael Russo broke it down for the paper, and he has a delicious new blog right here. We taught him everything he knows, which means it will be a good six weeks until he can post photos.

Russo should be about one day from major font-related problems. You better call and tell him to use Notepad.
He should know about that … I tried to curtail all the major mistakes I made.
I’d tell Russo to follow in Chris Snow’s footsteps and get a cushy front office gig as opposed to hanging around the series of tubes with the likes of us.

In an unrelated note, the Gophers got a commitment from 3-star DB from Houston (the suburb is Aldine) in Curtis Thomas (6-1, 190, 4.6 speed). Good looking player. He de-committed from Kansas State after their def. coor. left. Houston Chronicles calls him a state top 100 recruit.
Good job by Everett Withers who recruited him.
