Remember, fans, Tuesday is Die Hard Night

A pretty fun little piece of news came our way via Diddy, who for some reason was reading a blog on the Cleveland Plain Dealer web site instead of this one and found out this information from a commenter: The Indians series against Anaheim has not only been moved to Milwaukee because of snow in Cleveland, but it will start today — the very same day that a special edition of “Major League” is released on DVD. This probably works better if we don’t have to explain it, but in the movie known as “Major League,” there is a team called the Cleveland Indians and their various ballgames are filmed at Milwaukee’s old County Stadium. So we can only conclude that that Twins are in serious trouble. Cleveland, with its band of upstarts and lovable losers, will band together after a tough start to win the pennant. We also would like to nominate either Fernando Cabrera or Fausto Carmona for the part of Ricky “Wild Thing” Vaughn and Casey Blake for the role of Roger Dorn. We’re not sure who will play Rene Russo’s character, but we’re guessing in a town like Cleveland/Milwaukee, there are plenty of candidates.
