000001ballpark.jpgSorry to disappoint everyone who wanted to see us running down 5th Street with the drawings of the new ballpark. We do everything electronically these days, such to the point that we rarely even have to leave our desk. Being fed through a tube is delightful. In any event, here is a new sketch of the Twins’ ballpark, as seen from some pretty choice seats between third base and home plate. If you squint, you can see Daisuke Matsuzaka, after three disappointing seasons with Boston, pitching for the Twins on a bargain basement contract en route to finally fulfilling his potential. What else can you see? Some yahoo in a red shirt, along with others in white shirts, standing and blocking everyone else’s view and cheering wildly even though it appears there are no baserunners and the ball isn’t even in play. Oh, and you can see buildings. And sky. All kidding aside, it looks glorious. You can see the rest of the images right here.
