There’s a lot of stuff on the Internets

0000001dance.jpgEverybody can rest easy: The Miami Heat dancers have defended their NBA Dance Team Bracket title. Ted Sevransky, we’re fairly sure, saw this one coming a long time ago and had the appropriate action on the Heat dancers. We also decided against the shameless picture of the Heat dancers and instead posted the very interesting contest logo because we’re fairly certain those are not the silhouettes of any actual dancers. In fact, the second one from the right might be former Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale who we just discovered in checking the spelling of his name — sweetness, no! — shares a birthday with us. Except he’s way older and married to a Hollaback girl.
OK, calm down: Coyote passes along this Youtube clip of Jets draft blunders, which was also on Deadspin earlier today. Highlights include a young Chris Berman.

We can stop talking about Don Imus because he’s been fired from all his jobs.

The Wade Blogs, one of our favorite blog names ever, tells the Kurt Vonnegut sportswriter story, complete with swears, which we just can’t do. RIP, Kurt. One of our greatest regrets is skipping a reading he gave here several years back because we had to work. Stupid. Work. Stupid.
