000000001strange.jpgIt’s been a crazy, fast-moving, strange day already — not as strange as that random sequence of pictures — but we apologize for not being up and running at our usual pre-9 a.m. speed. We’ll be heading over to the Fortress on First Avenue soon for a season-ending press conference, and if time/luck permits — not to steal the idea from Pacifist Viking — we might just drop by Brad Childress and his poetry reading, since it’s kind of on the way back to the office. We’ll keep this post brief because you already, for the most part, know what happened:

The Twins had an adventure in Seattle, recording the final out on a play at the plate to win 5-4. Another pretty solid outing for Carlos Silva. All those Silva haters can shut up. Wait. Then we wouldn’t be able to talk, either. Carry on.
Brad May was suspended three games for being a [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] in Sunday night’s game against the Wild. It’s on now. 9:30 tonight. This could get ugly and/or interesting.

Coming up: We Said, She Said; The aforementioned newsy trip through downtown Minneapolis; Vikings stadium vision introduced at 2 p.m. … Yeah, it’s a full day, for sure.
