Roughkat makes a good point: Why are there six players on the NBA all-rookie first team and seven on the second team. Yes, we understand that there was a tie in both cases (a three-way job in the case of the second team), but c’mon. Cut it off at five apiece. Have a tiebreaker. Something (and that picture, by the way, comes up when you type in “five per side” in Google images. Not sure why.
Bpar says Gophers wrestler Cole Konrad is trying out for the NFL’s New York Jets. We heard the same thing on the radio this morning, and this message board appears to corroborate the story.
Oh, and Elisabeth Shue agrees that The Karate Kid is a sports movie. There’s a day-ending and overnight discussion question for you. (Sorry, Stu, couldn’t ask the Hold Steady question. Too far out there, even for us).
