0000000000001rasheed.gifPistons vs. Bulls has so far looked more like anybody in the last month of the season vs. McHale’s Project 109. Detroit routed Chicago for the second consecutive time last night (’Sheed image found at mgoblog.blogspot.com). The Jazz, meanwhile, took Game 1 from Golden State. Look out for these sneaky Utah kids with their fancy theories on basketball. They went 3-1 against Phoenix and 2-2 vs. San Antonio this year and could be a factor if they make it past the Warriors. It would give you ample time to visit their home page, which will make your ears bleed.

Bengie Molina hit two home runs in the same inning for the Giants, while the Twins are still working on hitting one home run in a week. The slow-footed Molina, by the way, was once described in print by La Velle E. Neal III as running “as if a bear is on his back,” touching off a Molina vs. Star Tribune feud during the 2002 ALCS. True story. Looks like Bengie got the last laugh Monday. He could lumber around those bases at whatever speed he wanted, carrying the mammal of his choice.

David Wells says he would never want the same travel arrangements Roger Clemens has, saying not being with your team all the time is disrespectful. We’re guessing David Wells will never have to worry about being given that choice.

I Heart KG has all sorts of fun items, including a report of Oft-Injured Point Guard at the Kentucky Derby.

Mystery link! That should get you in the right frame of mind for Wednesday.
