Stensation is incredulous after finding out the Twins have an upcoming promotion involving a Jason Bartlett growth chart. He e-mails:

What, Punto and Rodriguez weren’t available on photo day so they had to go with THIS guy? “Hey, dad! Look, I’m almost as tall as Jason Bartlett!” If I heard that I’d rip the thing down from my kid’s wall.

To be fair, Bartlett is listed at a strapping 6-feet tall on the Twins roster — though that might be with his cap and shoes on, right after several glasses of milk. And we suppose Joe Mauer can’t be a part of every giveaway. The poster is only for the first 5,000 fans 14-and-under at the June 8 game against the Nationals, and actually we would have totally supported a Punto version. That way one-quarter of the recipients would have had no use for it. But at least we do learn something from the Bartlett poster: The distance from his beltline to the top of his cap is 28 inches.
