Saturday links a la Jon and Stu

Bringing you through a weekend of fun. Here’s a few thoughts from Jon:
Do you think Patrick Reusse actually believes this, or do you think he’s just trying to get a rise out of everybody? I especially like the unprovoked shot at Francisco Liriano. [Proprietor note: Reusse believes everything he writes. That’s what makes him so good].
The NHL is playing outside again next year. Our suggestion for a venue: Baudette. If it’s good enough for Lake of the Woods and St. Paul Johnson, it’s good enough for the Wild and the Flames.
Now that the UFL appears to be for real, Kissing Suzy Kolber has some suggested franchise names. I can’t wait for the Omaha Loblaws (Watch yourself over at KSK, sensitive-eared kids).
I can do video links too. It’s Pearl Jam, with helpful subtitles and visual aids.
And finally, it’s more from Mr. Met! I have laughed at this picture on five separate occasions, and frankly, the whole album makes me guffaw.
Stu plays guest DJ:
Men Without Hats, The Safety Dance … Adam Ant, Goody Two Shoes (I unironically think this song is great), NKOTB, You Got It (The Right Stuff) (This, however, is utter crap). Something for everyone, as they say.
