There’s a lot of stuff on the Internets

The Big Lead dug out an interesting story about Facebook and how it’s getting some more athletes in trouble. Let’s make one thing clear: If you are a drunk athlete and you have pictures taken, don’t put them on Facebook. Send them somewhere reputable, like RandBall. Kidding, of course. Don’t put them on the Internets. Better still, don’t take any pictures. Best of all, stay in your room until you’re 21, young lady.
The Babes won’t be satisfied until every Major Leaguer is embarrassed. And that’s why they’re the best. Pretty clear cut that it’s Mariano vs. Schilling. That should keep ESPN happy.
Poor Miami. This is not a fun hindsight game.
That might be it for us today … the FMRB has a half-day and we’re hoping to catch an early showing of “Knocked Up” together. Before you get all indignant about our work ethic, remember that Friday is technically a day off. You could argue that since we write about sports, we never technically work. And we would be crushed under the weight of those semantics. We can’t lie. But we leave you with a question: If the Vikings signed Snoop Dogg to play wide receiver, would this boost or diminish your confidence in the team?
