Major love to RandBall’s friend, Li’l Dice (aka Mama, aka author of the wonderful blog I Heart KG) for passing along an e-mail and the pictures you see above. It seems a few of her friends, diehard Twins fans (we can vouch for that) bought some Twins bandanas at the Metrodome during a recent game. Upon further inspection, which you will notice in the second of the two pictures, they found that there was a hidden message in the upper righthand corner of these otherwise lovely head garments: a Yankees logo! Say it ain’t so! 2003, 2004 and the small market vs. big market thing are all bad enough. Do they really have to infiltrate a perfectly good bandana? (And for you Photoshop conspiracy theorists out there, it appears the logo in question is in the lower left hand corner of the first shot and that the bandana was flipped for the second picture).
