For some reason or another, the Star Tribune has asked us to come out to the State Fair to represent our fine newspaper; equally strange is that we eagerly accepted the invitation. We don’t always like people, but we love gatherings. So if you’d like to come out for a RandBall-sponsored evening of fun — remember, we’re immature enough that we would pull along the side of the road just across the Wisconsin border and snap that picture you see because it reminds us of a scene in Big Lebowski — here are the details:

7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, State Fair, Star Tribune booth.

We’re not exactly sure what all this will entail, but if “light custodial work” ends up being a part of the title, we have to be honest: that would be disappointing. You can see the rest of the schedule of appearances right here.
