It seems that New Braunfels, Texas, is getting set to host Wurstfest: The 10-day salute to sausage. It kind of reminds us of the time we received a certificate from Gasthof’s for eating a meter of sausage. Oh, and the first one to make the “this sounds like a real sausage party” joke loses a point.

Also, the RandBall Better Half has posted again on her own blog. It’s somewhat the equivalent of our free-form jazz experiment of a week ago.

Li’l Dice, on her fancy revamped Wolves blog, has a link to Corey Brewer roaming the streets of Turkey. Good stuff.

OK, we understand the fantasy craze — and admittedly, it was one of our first thoughts — but is it too soon to analyze the fake football implications of Travis Henry facing a one-year drug suspension in a story citing only “multiple sources? We say it’s a little too soon. Also, Henry is a little nuts.
