Thanks to Thad for the heads up (dig that before picture here, and the after picture on the link. And yes, there is a RandBall reader named Thad).

It turns out New York already fired an underachieving Joe Torre 26 years ago. All this time he’s been working for free? Oh, the other New York team.

Doing the right thing makes you … a Superstar! Oh Jem. You’re truly outrageous. Truly, truly, truly outrageous. Clip 3: “I’d better tell her someone else did it.” Yeah, mom would be thrilled if she found out someone else ripped your short skirt. That would play well. Clip 4: Um, aren’t you a little young to be picking things up at the pharmacy? Clip 5: If you have to ride at night, make sure your equipment’s right. No comment. (Thanks, Vanessa!).

FYI: Spoon show at First Ave. last night was outstanding. We don’t have a clip, but this will give you the general idea.

First Terry Ryan. Now John Schuerholz. Baseball is losing some respected, long-tenured GMs.
