The Internets: Towel relief is very nice

A basketball player for Kansas State peed into a towel during a game. No, seriously.
The Sean Taylor case gets interesting.
All Johan, all the time, says Joe C. He also linked to the audio of the Delmon Young bat flip; here’s the video.
Reuters.com, with its finger on the pulse of all the Yorvit Torrealba news you’ve been craving. They eschew the Hot Stove and go straight for the cool washcloth. And yes, we once heckled Yorvit while sitting in the $4 seats at Coors (the Rockpile) by shouting that Torrealba is Spanish for Terrible.

Even Moises Alou is appalled by that. He at least waits until he is in the shower.
A Spinal Tap Jazz Odyssey thumbs down for that heckle, sir.
There’s your new Delmon Young nickname–his old nickname, from big bro: Bat-Flinger.
Hey, no picking on Reuters, I’ll be working for them soon.
Batgirl. Pure. Genius. The Lego version of La Velle is spookily accurate.
Best comment from the K-State Piss-Boy story:
“Najeh Davenport is not impressed.”
PS: Hello again, RandBall Nation. It’s been awhile!
Always good to hear from a person who’s bottom is literally all sass.
And yes, the Davenport line is gold.
As tragic as Taylor’s death is, the press and police releases from the fair city of Miami were astoundingly moronic. I mean how often was his place previously invaded/burglarized …about 3 dozen possibly (I exaggerate) but his place was hit at least twice before and Miami vice comes out with press releases stating they felt it was random ! Randon as in random …followed by random ..followed by random maybe, but if they don’t have any clue what happened, don’t come up with this “random” copout. It cheapens the death of this guy. There was some connection between Taylor and these murderers. That seems evident.
