Any football fan should know Favre deserves no accolades since we on this site have accomplished so much more on the gridiron (there's sarcasm in there somewhere)

Packers stink...not,

just compare their records. Fran ever win the Big One ? And his arm was sortof a rag, goota admit that. He could scramble, for sure, but a qb needs at times ...to throw, long, accurately and often...Fran..not, sorry..Pull the stats yourself..google them. They are not trumped up stats. I liked Fran but his name was a little suspect :)

please dont give this guy any more stuff. he's not that good. Two super bowls he's only 1-1, big deal, Fran Tarkenington was better. the Bushers will never get out of the NFC this yr anyway. basically they stink.

Anyone would need a very long memory for this, but does anyone remember when Ray Nitscke (sp ?) of the old time Packers (that team that actually won Superbowls) cracked his helmet nearly in half on a helmet to helmet tackle (no pansy rules then) but didn't want to come out ? Me neither, but I was told it to be true, by fanatical Pack fans...the best kind

I think someone should start a Chuck Norris-like site dedicated to Favre and his utter amazingness-osity. A couple to think about:

The only person who can throw a pass that Brett Favre can't catch is Brett Favre. And most of the time he still can.

Brett Favre could kick field goals, but they can't make a net strong enough to catch them.

Brett Favre once threw up during a game. The grass he threw up on repeatedly tackled Robert Smith for a loss.

I'll bet the SI story mentioned how Favre wanted to play just wearing the visor pictured, but the team insisted that he wear a helmet.

You might not want to take my word for it, Dave. I just figure there must be some larger purpose to all the crotch-jockeying done around Favre. Credit for time served makes as much sense to me as anything else.
