Tuesday (Paul Paulos) Edition: Wha’ Happened?

000000000000000000000000000000000000000001paulos.jpgYes, the Patriots almost (and should have) lost last night. Yes, the Johan Santana watch continues. But we have far more pressing issues today: Paul Paulos has written to us with an idea. Frankly, we kind of like it. We especially like it because he has chosen to go first. Here are his words (as if we could have written them):

why not start a tradition, not of da Cow (how plebian), but of the posters (is that what we are called? rude!) who have done the most to either acquiesce and agree most with the masses or those of us who truly bring the rabble to their four feet? And what a better start than to solicit pictures of those posters (the detention students who support da Purp.) and also those of us who, let’s say, do not. So, here, most unsolicited is the first of what may be many such pictures to grace your pages …… by the way, this is Paulpaulos, my screenname speaking, Brett Favre only being my alter ego.

Ladies and Gentleman, the words and body of Paul Paulos. Please submit your photo and words if you wish to play this little game. We can think of no better countdown to the Redactular than to all get to know each other a little better.

Is that a leg lamp I see in the background?!

I didn’t know Joey from Full House was a Packers fan that got into cycling!

im thinking he needs to quit his Job at 7-11 and talk to Dave at KFAN about working with the Packer Preview. Maybe then he can upgrade his double-wide.

Don’t look now. Bears with Knives are tied for 1st place now. Hunters are trying to retaliate. Don’t confuse this with my team being any good. According to the power rankings (if every team played every team every week) I’m the 2nd to last team in the league. For those curious, the Proprietor is last. Don’t let him trick you into thinking he knows anything about fantasy football. Don’t take my advice either.

A Packer fan in his Sunday finest. Tear…sigh…tear.

According to LEN Santana is probably going to the Red Sox sometime today. And I will say in advance that the Twins are getting bent over if the deal proposed is accepted.

jpf says:

where is the roughkat fantasy update?

Jama, you are correct. If they could get Bucholz, Ellsbury, Masterson and Lowrie, Id take it. Otherwise they are better off taking the offer from the dreaded Yankees

Dave MN says:

I don’t know anyone who’s going to be happy if Coco Crisp is included in the Santana deal. The last thing we need is a mediocre center fielder. At least with a prospect like Ellsbury, his ceiling isn’t already known.

A) That Paulpaulos has certainly broken some hearts.

B) I don’t believe the Twins would take the Red Sox deal without Ellsbury coming back. The info was probably intentionally leaked in an attempt to get Hank to include Kennedy in the Yankees package.

What swayed Smith was Epstein’s offer to throw in the J. Geils Band boxset for free.

Wake up, slight hangover, it’s snowing, that photo above, another bad deal with Boston - at least I’m wearing sweats over my speedo.

From the Access Vikings blog:

Sorry to see that he is as “coherent” over here as he is on the other blog.

I really hope this is a joke.

… I hope that last sentence was not meant in the Biblical sense, Mr. Randball. We have enough ferral animals as it is …

Getting home from some Xmas shopping just now, I must respond to my fan base before I lose them since I know so many of them appreciate my wit, wisdom and cutting insight…so in the order they appear..

Super Rook, I don’t know what the redactacular is but, yeah, I’ve joined many things before w/o knowing what I was really doing, the human race being only the first and…

And it’s true Dead eye Dave, it is indeed a leg lamp..good for reading and with a red bulb in it (ala the 70s) great for making luv ..Yowsah !!

and Stu..no words !! I am hurt to the quick ..

Jama..you got me there..that’s why I’m hunched over like a midget hockey player (Hell, I was a midget hockey player)…I’m trying to make bike shorts look foo’ball pants ..but look at those calves, ay

…Lattee, you speak the truth and I’m not proud of it. I don’t even remember such behavior, yet bad behavior often leaves good memories. Weird that is.

but lastly this is a somewhat cool idea (even if I say so myself) and I’d love to see some picts of those I can so easily torment. I bet quite a few of them are sporting just a tiny bit of midriff heft…but I will not guess or even imply which ones since it is not in my nature to offend….

The more often I see this picture, the more Borat-esque P3 looks.

Paul Peter Paulos says:

December 4th, 2007 at 12:21 pm

I love Borat !! A one of a kind picture ! I wonder if he would be a Vike or Pack fan…probably wouldn’t care. Nobody cares as much as the people in these little boxes….

Since most everyone who will has already commented on this pict, I will as well. It looks pretty dorky, but my wife was watching that show about the woman who forgot who she is (the one from “Married with Children”) and she took this yearbook shot on a commercial and thought it to be too dumb to take another. I told her I looked more like a wrestler than a football player, but she thinks these blogs are dumb. Don’t know how your wife feels, but everytime I’m in my sanctum santorum typing away, she thinks I’m blasting someone. Now, how could she guess that ?
