That pitbull from Pitt, Bettis, was one of the few backs I've seen run that hard and he didn't get hurt all that often. But he didn't have Peterson's closing speed either, and since he has no off switch, I think it's that closing speed with some D lineman or linebacker that could cause troubles. I mean look around. There is almost nobody around hitting those holes that fast (the Cowboy's rb maybe). I hate to say it (and I DO hate to say it) but if Jackson doesn't self destruct, I'm going to have to watch Mark Rosen 24/7 ...Yechh. Time for a midwinter break.

The without getting hurt part is hard to answer. As for running as hard as he is now, I don't see why it would stop.

The without getting hurt...no idea.

Here's a question from an old friend now in L.A., a Packer fan, of course. Being of the same bent as I (gotcha, Otto Censor..snuck that by you). He asked about Peterson, but before I go any further, I want to enlist the words of the Animals and say "Please don't let me be misunderstood"...Heaven forbid that I may be.

Ok, we talked about how neither of us had ever seen any player hit into the line like Peterson does, even Butkus. But..there's always a but, isn't there, according to the Laws of inertia which allows no plea bargaining, sooner or later when an object in motion going from ... a to b ..meets an equally speeding object going from ..b to a, something's gotta give. And when that might happen is like guessing when a train that leaves Pittsbugh will meet the train coming from Chicago which always seemed so lame a question since they would be on separate tracks.

Anyway, the gist of his question to me, and I'll pass it on is this. As the playoffs loom, the Ds get better, more focused, faster, meaner and even desperate, soooo do you think Peterson has the right stuff ....to run as hard as he is now doing....without getting hurt. No bias, just an open question.

Say, where are those who earlier were mocking the Sin City Rollers now?

A half-game behind you. After this week, a half-game ahead of you.

(Note: this is almost certain to backfire on me)

Randball just says Randball doesn't care about this league.

It's his excuse for completely [redacted] the bed from about week five on.

Nice running backs, Randball.

Say, where are those who earlier were mocking the Sin City Rollers now?

Sorry, I see it was Larry Johnson, but still if you are making the playoffs it must be a weak league.

Did we ever get our fantasy Report this week? Well, I mean other than the fantasy surrounding the Santana debacle?

Heres to hoping that the Vikings dont let me down by completely [redacted] down their collective legs this weekend. That would just round off my week.
