000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001ham.jpgWe’ll get the Fasola-link out of the way right at the top today, with his public service reminder via this link that lets you know it’s absolutely not too late to get your Chanukah ham. The Festival of Lights began at Sundown this past Tuesday and runs until next Wednesday. You’d better hurry, though, because according to this story the signs have vanished. Probably too many festive celebrators snatching up all the ham. Or, maybe not. … If the Vikings lose to the 49ers on Sunday, we will feel like the stock clerk who made those Delicious for Chanukah signs. There, now it’s a sports blog. What else?

*Please do enjoy these Reuters soccer pictures of the year, from Ballhype and brought to our attention by RicS.

*In a fitting tribute, or an unfortunate coincidence, depending on how you see it, Sean Taylor was the featured Washington player on the game tickets for last night’s contest against the Bears. The tickets were printed months ago.

*Taking dead aim at 8-74 continues.

*Trial of the Century begins.

Bonus Fasola-link! Animated “Emergency,” thus ensuring at least one comment from Stu.
