*The list of players is over on Jon’s blog, and it includes several big name players already mentioned as well as these guys with Twins connections: Rondell White, Chuck Knoblauch and Denny Neagle and Chad Allen.
*An interesting read sent by Local Quipster that traces this whole steroids business back to Jeff Bagwell.
*From Stu — parts of the Mitchell Report you might have overlooked:
Pg. 33: “We’ve determined that, prior to all his starts in 2005, Brad Radke increased his adrenaline levels by cranking Vanessa Carlton’s midtempo piano ballad ‘A Thousand Miles.’”
Pg. 46: “David Eckstein and Nick Punto have admitted under oath to taking excessive amounts of Flintstones Multi-Vitamins to increase their ’scrappiness’ and ‘build strong, healthy bones.’”
Pg. 53: “Curt Schilling leaked Valerie Plame’s identity to Robert Novak.”
Pg. 68: “A tipster who referred to himself as ‘Sports Guy’ kept calling the office and saying that he has numerous T-shirts saying that Derek Jeter enjoys [redacted]. When told this was neither relevant to the investigation, much less provable or punishable, he’d say, ‘Go Pats! I know Adam Carolla!’ and hang up.”
Pg. 102: “Eric Gagne’s hair: we’re just gonna blame that on the shampoo he’s using.”
Pg. 119: “Furthermore, the Committee finds that a grown man shouldn’t go by the name ‘Chipper.’ It’s just unseemly.“
