The “national championship” game is tonight

There is talk of a final four in college football in future years; for now, however, we have the BCS, which produces two teams for a title game based on where a squirrel in Georgia relieves itself. Or something like that. But, we suppose we’ll watch a good portion of tonight’s game. We’ll take LSU. Last year, well, we didn’t get it right: The huffing, puffing bowl season comes to an end tonight with the big one: Ohio State. Florida. Two teams will go in. Only one will come out. Or something like that. As mentioned earlier, we don’t generally follow college football with the white-hot intensity of 1,000 burning suns, but that won’t stop us from making a prediction. For some reason, 38-20 Ohio State keeps popping into our heads.
