Five things we’re thinking about

soprano.jpg1. Is there any way humanly possible to look at the name of the new Dolphins coach and not read “Tony Soprano?” Answer: No, there is not.

2. Early Super Bowl line: New England (-7.5) over Green Bay. That’s our best guess. Would we take destiny or the points? Tough call, but there’s a good chance we’d take the points.

3. Randy Moss sure knows how to create a distraction, doesn’t he?

4. At their current pace, the McLovins would have to play 371 games this season to match their 58-victory total of 2003-04.

5. This Seantrel Henderson kid from Cretin? The real deal. You will be hearing his name plenty of times in the next two years.

How many points does either team get in that matchup if one of them doesn’t win this weekend?

Id say GB by 2, that is after it comes out that Randy Moss can not come near any GB cheerleader due to restraining orders.

Mclovins…. gotta love the scrappy team. And by Scrappy, i mean as in “as engaging as Scrappy do was on Scooby do.”

Seantrel is the real deal.

Check out Bill Simmons podcast The BS Report this week…they talk about Lavalle E. Neal III and question why he includes the III…funny stuff.

JPF - The Packers are one of approximately six NFL teams not to have cheerleaders.

Half of those teams are in the NFC North, where the Vikings have the most attractive cheerleaders. The Bears I get, due to the weather, and the Packers too, due to everyone in town not playing in the game being drunk on paint thinner by kickoff–but the Lions? They’ve played indoors forever*, and they don’t have cheerleaders?

*forever=my lifetime.

Millen sacrificed cheerleaders to pay the salary of another receiver taken in the 1st round…

Toonces, I swore the Packers had cheerleaders (though wearing very modest costumes) so I looked it up under WikiAnswers ….”The Green Bay Packers did have official cheerleaders, but the Packers decided not to reinstate them after the 1988 season”…don’t know why they did so except maybe cold weather has some visible effects on a body ;)
