Man, with all this hullabaloo, you'd think he taped his jersey to her or something.

Whether he hurt her or just pushed her, the guy has a record as a hothead. She had a cut on her hand, the only evidence offered to date, and with most sports columnists cautioning against a "rush to judgement" my guess, no matter what he did short of a major physical confrontation, he will walk. It's the Moss way..

I loved Moss' defense that "In 30 years" he's never laid a hand on a woman in anger or aggression. Anyways, I heard it on KFAN.

Which 30 years? That's my question. Given the fact that he was born in Feb. of '77, he's a month shy of his 31st birthday (is my math right here?). That means there's a window of 11 months that he's neither admitting or denying he laid a hand on a woman in anger or aggression.

Moss is a sharp guy. He's a successful smoothie franchiser. He said "30" instead of "30 and 11 months" for a reason.

Jason Whitlock, a normally clear headed writer who pops up all over the place characterizes Moss' whole deal with Rachelle Washington as just part of a messy divorce. Who knows ? Many divorces get messy at times, but my question is how come no description of the "accident", as Moss describes it, are forthcoming. I mean if I have an accident, I can generally say what happened so if Moss is trying to clear his name, why doesn't he just say what happened. He has a well known history of violence starting with a high school fight where he nearly killed a much undersized classmate, so I'm not buying this distinction that he can hit a male but never a female.

Having said that, he surely deserves the benefit of the doubt if only because he does seem to be a change man this year. And, being the wife of a fabulously wealthy man, she would have reached a lucrative settlement anyway after the divorce so why make up this stuff up now ? My feeling ? I think he did push or shove her, but maybe not hurt her, but she got POed about being hit, as she should be, and now she wants a 1/2 mil...what a world !!

Now aren’t you glad the Vikings dumped his baggage for a since-departed linebacker and a first-round pick that became Troy Williamson?

Sophie had an easier choice. (/read a book, why don't you)
