Thanks Roughkat for the commercial reviews. While your descriptions are vivid, if anyone wants to watch the best of the best commercials all week, you can check them out at Firebrand.com. Its the Superbowl of advertising, and Firebrand is making the most of it. The day after the Superbowl, "Firebrand Monday", will air the best of the best from the big day. Viewers can download and rate the commercials.(oh ya, and if you vote, you can win $) This way, no matter who wins the game, we will know who wins the ad trophy. (thats right PPP, no more arguments!) You can check out out blogger exclusive bit at http://firebrandbloggerexclusive.smnr.us/. The Mr. Clean figure is HILARIOUS.

PPP - This blog does exactly what the Strib wants it to--generates page views, for which they sell adds. I'm guessing as long as we're not dissing their reporters, slandering people (or is it libeling?), or sending people to the East Side of town, they could care less if we talk about sports or not. Well, they might care if we didn't talk about sports at all, but I think talking about how good of a game that was yesterday qualifies. Because despite your whining about losing, it was a great game to watch. Very exciting pretty much throughout, very exciting ending. Yeah, it was not real well played, but still good to watch.

I'm confused. Several of those comments even mentioned sports. None of them mentioned the monster in #4's pants though so I guess it doesn't count.

And Roughkat, to actually answer your post, if I was going to buy cheap beer based on commercial appeal, my fridge would be full of Bud Light.

Alas, my fridge has a smattering of various Bell's beers and some Pilsner Urquell that my brother brought over. Sorry, commercials; you entertain me, but you don't educate my purchases.

P3 - If that's the case, how about talking about sports for a change instead how terrible Minnesota and all its fans are? You couldn't even stay on topic for this post. Honestly, I thought you were doing so well last week with mostly coherent comments. Then the Packers lose and you have this setback. Can't we all just get along?

PS. For what it's worth, I wanted to see the Packers in the Super Bowl.
