In the course of doing our typical Monday reading, we came across a curious sight: Peter King’s Monday Morning Quarterback Feature at SI.com was missing a key element. Everything else was pretty much there except for the “Goat of the Week” category. Quickly, we went back into the archives to see if he had recently discontinued the practice of calling out a player. Nope, Dennis Northcutt wore the horns last week. So what was up with the omission this week? We’ll give King the benefit of the doubt. It could have just been an oversight after a long day. Maybe we aren’t particularly careful readers, and sometimes he skips that feature. But part of us is curious — in all seriousness — if he skipped it because the most logical recipient would have been No. 4 from the Packers, whom King has lauded with words more often than we can count. Just a thought.

*An interesting sports tie-in to Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech. Also, the McLovins are celebrating the holiday by trailing Golden State by 5 early in the third. We anxiously await a final score.
