The Internets: Guy Lafleur is in a bit of a pickle

Guy_Lafleur_Bio.jpgThe former hockey star will let a jury make a decision in a rather interesting case. Obviously, we don’t visit the TSN.ca site enough.

*This plopped into our inbox a couple of days ago, and we’ve decided it’s a little desperate: A Big Ten Network press release announcing a victory in a really small market in Ohio.

*Jeremy Shockey for president? It’s not natural. You don’t change horses in midstream. You rope eight together and make a horse-raft.

*Brock Lesnar enters the UFC fray tomorrow at Mandalay Bay. We hope to have some exclusive RandBall reports on this by Monday.

*Tom Brady has his own HAIR STYLIST at the Super Bowl. Take that, Johnny Unitas.

*Six years at $22 million per? That’s where Santana might be heading very soon, SI says.

In the Big Ten Network’s defense, if they broadcast the Massillon-Canton McKinley game, they’ll pull a 100 share in that market.

But the Hall of Famer later admitted he drove his son to hotels to spend the night with his 16-year-old girlfriend.

He’d best hope the father of the 16-year-old isn’t Shane Churla. (/marthaler)

I suggest a Shockey/Clinton (Bill) ticket. Both probably can appeal to the very widest range of women voters, something Obama or Hillary can’t do now. Bill’s appeal might be to those who like his mind, Shockey to those who like his body. Might work. For me, I don’t know why the country vamped all over poor Bill, I didn’t know the service Monica was doing for her country was illegal (jees, I hope not)

There are not enough Shane Churla jokes around.

One of Lafleur’s kid’s charges is “forcible confinement”. I suspect the charge and the punishment will be the same.
