Straight, I just got back from a few errands, but before I left I saw your line about D..... bags. Well one of those stops was Walgreens, and guess what product grabbed my eye ? Of course, I needed to run screaming from the store being weirded out about such apparatus...

I think the worst current jersey in MLB is the Diamondbacks... Because it says D-Backs on it. Could it be ANY closer to D-Bags? Not really...

Is that a dew rag and short shorts? Yikes! Please tell me that picture was taken in 1986!
Just kidding, I can't knock a guy fishing with his little girl in WRR. February in MN makes pictures like that very welcome.
As for uniforms, the old Twins lt. blue with dark pants remind me of kids pajamas. The new ones are much better.

Actually I was. Are you a true sportsmen as well ? Truth is even around here I go barbless (except for my barbs in these posts) since I don't even like most fish except walleye and trout, yet I fish musky and bass almost exclusively. Go figure..

RandBall, I have a question for you. Which logo/s, professional or college, do you think is/are the ugliest?

I can't stand this cyber swoosh stuff that they do nowdays. Like the Broncos, Panthers, Pats, Jags of the NFL.

I could go on and on about that too, but I won't bore you.

Thank you.

My worst uniforms:

NFL: All the Hip-Hoppy uni's (i.e Bengals, Falcons)

MLB: Tampa Bay Rays/Devil Rays

NBA: Who cares, they will just change in a couple of years anyway. They have to go after that lucrative thug demographic you know.

NHL: Those old Canucks sweaters look a heck of lot better than most now. Especially the red and green Christmas uniforms the Wild wear. I wonder whose wife designed those.

I could go on and on about the pro uniforms because I think they are an important fabric of sports, no pun intended. Now days it seems that all the uniforms are black, dark, or morose colors which unfortunatley relect the times. I harken back to the days we had some color to look at, how could you forget those Creamsicle Tampa Bay Buc uniforms? It was beatiful art watching Earl Campbell romping in those light blue jerseys of Houston Oiler's past. What about Steve Grogan or Steve Bartkowski wearing red jersey's?

I remeber when the White Sox had red, white, and blue uniforms, and all teams wore gray on the road. These so called "alternate" jerseys are just a way to rip off the fans. I refuse to fall for that baloney.

Thank you RandBall for letting me get that off my chest.
