About 30,000 fewer words than last year, one hopes.

Bring on the videos!

I read this morning that the Vikes landed Bernard Berrian. Damn !! If they now get a decent qb or Tavaris overcomes his wondrous skill at missing receivers with beautiful spirals,
so suddenly next year the Vikes (Gulp !) become good, what will I write about ?

Weird... last nite I sent the Proprietor a link to Hal McRae's great rant - unique in the world of managerial rants because it involved a bloodied sports reporter.

I liked Wilson's comment about athletes not paying attention to politics... " you're talking about a population that makes a ton of money, so the ups and downs of the economy don't impact whether we're getting paid. Therefore, we often don't care."...Duh, do we think these politicians are themselves in bread lines. Politicians and sports figures hardly make school teacher wages

..but I didn't like Ellison's schtick about being "inspired" by Obama since that phoney baloney guy only says what his well paid focus groups decide we all want to hear, and what's this being "inspired" all about anyway ? Do we really feel any politician, even Sir Lanky Ichabod himself, can turn this econ around or pull out of this war in 6 mos ! Kix and inspiration are for kids...The rest of us have to work..
