So, what’s up with Moss and Culpepper?

mossculpepper.JPGLost in the hub-bub over the local implications of free agency and the Vikings winning the NIT (Local Quipster’s words, not ours) is the insane story that Randy Moss and Daunte Culpepper might be seeking an arrangement to be reunited on one team. This is strange for several reasons: 1) What is New England thinking? Pay the man already. 2) No offense to the ‘Pepper, but isn’t a reunion of these guys a little like getting Hank Aaron and Tommy Aaron back together for a home run contest? One of them has a little more to offer than the other, wethinks. 3) Aside from one strange run to an NFC title game that ended in disaster (remember, those 2000 Vikings lost their final three regular season games and only snagged a bye because Tampa Bay choked at Green Bay in the final regular season game; Minnesota then faced a dreadful New Orleans team, drubbed the Saints, and was suddenly a road favorite in New York) and a glorious 60 minutes of playoff football at Lambeau Field following another late-season collapse, what exactly have these two men accomplished together?

4) Know any teams that could use an upgrade at QB and WR and have plenty of cap room? Wait …
