pacman.jpgThe Democrats might be poised to take back the White House, but the newest soon-to-be Cowboys player could really be poised to take back the White House. That’s right: Adam “Pacman” Jones is ready to play football again; and he wants a trade to Dallas. Yes. From The Sporting News:

Adam “Pacman” Jones told an Atlanta radio station that he’s ready to play football again and would like to play for the Dallas Cowboys.

Jones was suspended in April 2007 for off-the-field incidents. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in February that he does not plan to reinstate Jones soon and will review the matter again in July, as teams get close to open training camps. Jones’ attorney and agent Manny Arora has asked Goodell to consider reinstating Jones before the NFL Draft April 26-27.

“I can’t wait, man. It’s just a matter of time now,” Jones said on the air. “The hard part is over with for the most part. I am just waiting so when the pull the plug I am back on. I am in tip-top shape.”

This has extra significance in our lives, as the first time we ever went to Dallas, we were caught in a torrential rain. Pacman, was that you?
