Must be a hockey player’s grandma

Many thanks to Roughkat, who not only passed along this story from WESH.com in Orlando but also suggested a particular Wild player for the headline we ended up using. You can probably guess who he picked after you read this:
An 80-year-old woman went down swinging when a police officer tried to arrest her.A Tavares police officer pulled the woman over at the intersection of U.S. Highway 441 and Huffstetler Drive for an improper lane change.
Authorities said Thalia Logas refused to sign a ticket and punched the officer in the stomach and chest several times when he tried to place her under arrest.
The officer called for back up and a Lake County Sheriff’s deputy arrived.
The two officers said they finally got the handcuffs on her, and she managed to wiggle out of them and threw them out the window of the police car.
Awesome. By the way, there’s video at the aforementioned link.

I hope Hoc-key? Monday is not a new theme that you forgot to mention!
Tavares, Fla
You don’t say.
Grandma?
It’s only a matter of time before Fox signs her for the next Celebrity Boxing show.
Another Boogaard Fight Camp success story.
I thought they could do another man vs. beast and have her duke it out with a kangaroo.
I was speed reading thru the post, but as usual, my eye got hung up on 2 phrases…”An 80 year old woman…” and
“The officer called for back up”…I mean what kind of heat did this guy face going back to the cop shop with everyone knowing this old bag was whaling on him. ? Fool ! Next time he’ll just taser her and blame her heart attack on all the crack in her system. What a babe, though. Must have been one hell of a babe at 75..
I know who she can fight…
