Tiger Woods and his $65 million home … not!
Posted on March 18th, 2008 – 1:50 PMBy Michael Rand
Update: In an attempt to appease fans of that picture (Jama), Tiger Woods (Sassbottom) and obscene wealth (Stu), we bring you news that Tiger Woods has not, in fact, bought a house for $65 million. Le Tigre has purchased a mansion in the Hamptons for a cool $65 million. He already has a $40 million home in Florida; Woods appears determined to pull the housing market out of this downward spiral all on his own. For those of you not familiar with Woods, he is a terrific golfer. He also happens to have a lovely wife and child. What we don’t know, however, is how good he is at cryptic crosswords, Beer Miles and other such endeavors. We suggest he doesn’t place any wagers on such things with any RandBall commenters. (Thanks to Sassbottom for following this story and helping with the fix. Sounds as though the NY Post got burned).

“a 7,500-square-foot guesthouse”
If he’s looking for guests, I would be glad to volunteer.
How much would a 7,500 square foot house cost in the Hamptons? How about a 10 square foot card board box? Is that in my budget.
Thanks again for that picture. It’s like watching someone getting hit in the [redacted] by a football, over and over again, it never gets old.
I’m really impressed by the Post reporter’s ability to fit in so many lame puns:
1) Bunker
2) Lair
3) A place to hole up
4) Scored
5) Landed in the rough
Now that’s some writin’.
I’m confused about something…you could put that picture of a guy that no one wants to see in a banana hammock just because he has Simba carved into his abs, but you can put a decent bikini photo for Mrs. Woods up instead of her wearing a sweatshirt…wow…here…I’ll give you a hand.

I don’t know if any of you have seen this but apparently it is KG’s fault that the TWolves got to keep their lottery pick last year. On a side note he is also resposible for trading Brandon Roy, weapons of mass destruction, and the next Tsunami.

Forty minutes, Woodsie and I ate lunch while I did it. Bring it on!
