*Bill Raftery works on his catch-phrases by doodling during games he isn’t calling. At least that’s the theory over at the Sporting Blog, which got ahold of one of Raftery’s sketches.
*Rick Neuheisel’s life is about to get a lot easier: California is looking at a law that would make office pools legal. Wait, they’re not legal. Ruh-roh!
*Those deadline deals in the NBA? Over-rated. Nobody has benefited.
*Derek Jeter: Just like us, only not like us.
*Jon Kitna has set the Lions’ dial to 10 wins. Again. That went well last season. Why not try it again?

As long as Matt Millen is GM the Motor City Kitties will never win 10 games.
Maybe Kitna is working off of the total from last season. Then when they win 2 games this season it will equal 10.
The Detroit Lions are like the Minnesota Gophers football team. They both have not had a good team since the 1950’s.
