There are a few different versions of this fight, but we think this one is the best. Patrick Roy coaching; son fighting another goalie; ref getting knocked over; obscene gestures. Yep, it’s got it all.

I really do love this video. I think I saw it at Deadspin earlier. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone itch harder for a fight than Mr. Roy.

Way to whoop the crap out of that goalie who apparently wasn’t even paying attention until you jacked him into his own net…

At least he went and fought another player after that beating. I mean, it’d be a shame if all he was known for was sucker punching someone.

Jonathan Roy rules. Seriously, that was hardcore. Running the other goalie was clearly part of the code and the kid turtled so Roy let him go, then he taunted the rest of the bench until someone else came out and Roy pummeled that guy too? Seriously. He’s awesome.
