How much does an inflatable castle cost to rent?

Hey, glad you asked. Turns out it’s pretty much in the $150-200 range, though they get a little pricier if you want some more combo fun. And since you’re wondering, we’ve been in meetings much of the day and are relying on the insane e-mail thread that started with Stanford and has now deviated into inflatable play structures as the basis for our posting this afternoon. Local Quipster wants to get one this summer. The Notorious J.I.M. provided some quick info as to where. We’re on board. But which one? Carl Everett has the dinosaur castle booked solid (Applecherry hat-tip). The sports theme would be fine, but it looks weird. How can you save the home run when your glove is BEHIND the foul pole. Or is that a bat? Either way: Dumb. Smart money is on happy dragon combo at this point. By the way, Applecherry says it’s OK for us to print some of his response to Local Quipster re: Stanford. So here you go:
Everyone expects Stanford to make four passes before a shot, wear tight shorts, and, most importantly, take their losses well and go home smiling so that their presence doesn’t make everybody uncomfortable that the rest of their bracket is composed of players who can’t read. … In the spirit of former cardinal John McEnroe, we’re not going to take it anymore! we’re going to chant “safety school” at Cornell for being worse at school and at sports and for living in Ithaca.

If you, the discerning RandBaller looking to determine what kind of inflatable fun device is the one for you (ahem), I direct you all the Bounce Depot (ahem) in Waite Park, MN. There are five of these giant SOBs in one room, and my daughters both give the pirate ship high marks.
The downside, of course, is that you have to go to Waite Park.
Actually, Burger Time is in Waite Park and it’s one of my favorite restaurants in the world.
RE: Burger Time. Agreed.
