Brett Favre’s agent has shot down a published report that the Green Bay Packers quarterback, who announced his retirement last month, could be weighing a comeback with another team.

The Los Angeles Times, citing unnamed NFL sources, reported that Favre’s agent, James “Bus” Cook, had quietly inquired with teams about their interest in trading for the 38-year-old veteran.

But Cook, asked about the report, told ESPN, “That is absolutely false. Absolutely false, and you can quote me on that.”

Cook was quoted in The Times story that any word of Favre’s interest in continuing his career was “news to me.”

He’s coming back. When, not if. Mark it.

Last I heard was that #4 has not filed his retirement papers yet. If he “absolutely” is not going to play again, there’s no reason not to file those.

What do I mark it with?

I heard the Bears might need a new QB. Maybe Cook doesn’t know about it because he is gettting traded as well.

What is an Eagle going to do with a Waffle? Shouldn’t their logo be a trucker at a Diner counter?

I’ve checked, and the #4 jersey is not taken at Winter Park.

If Favre came in as Viking….be honest…you would find rancid piles of feces in your pants..expelled not from bar tacos, or fear but excitement !!! Or, you think you would rather train “Stiff Legged” Tavaris for another 5 years as a backup….Ask A.D. to give up some of his $$ to get #4 here. Together they have a much better chance at the bowl…
