"Former Viking Eller arrested after allegedly hitting cops
Former Minnesota Vikings great Carl Eller became so violent that two Minneapolis police officers who arrested him early this morning for suspicion of driving while intoxicated feared for their lives, said Inspector Mike Martin

I always feel for these retired guys, not so much for current players turned thugs, but guys like Eller who know their playing days are over and they only have one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel. In other words, nothing to look forward too. He was one of the good guys too. Just a bad drunk.</description>
