The Wild could go oh-fer on the year and routinely climb into the stands to pound the hell out of elderly people and still be the most “liked” organization in the state. There is no rose-colored-glasses-wearing fan like the Wild fan.

Should we guess what the Movie Quote category is going to be today? Knowing Rand as much as I do, by which I mean I don't know him at all. Here are a couple of guesses.

1. Disney Movies
2. Susan Sarandon Flicks
3. 10 different Quotes all from Thelma and Luise
4. RBBH's favorite movies
5. Cheerleading movies

(time to delurk)

Nathan, here's something else to digest: guess who tops the Title Track category. Who's the first team that springs to mind when you think of teams with deep championship traditions and expectations?

That's right, the Carolina Hurricanes.

Now I consider myself to be a casual fan of the team (disclaimer: I live in the Raleigh area and picked up with the Canes after letting hockey go when the North Stars flew south. Weird and possibly ironic, I know). But I can't imagine that one championship and one other Cup Finals run being the only times they've been in the playoffs in the past six years earns them the honorific as the Most Titlerific Franchise in Professional Sports, over teams like the Spurs and the Patriots.

Maybe they let the Forbes folks put together that ranking.

Okay, how on earth can the Maple Leafs be ranked that low, especially below the Wolves? That's appalling!

They have a great facility, great fans and a proud history. Granted, the team has been underachieving for the last decade, but they're not T-Wolves pathetic.

on my way to work every day I drive by a building that houses the "mchale institute"

I have always wanted to take a picture and send it to you for all MP109 related posts, but hadn't seen one in a while. It is now fresh in my mind to do it tomorrow
