You bring up a good point. Maybe there is less downtime in a hockey game so the analysts have less dead air to fill?

I just dislike left handed hockey goalies becuase all hockey goalies are basically wierdo’s. And as we all know left-handed people have a brain a third the size of right-handed people. It’s science.

Shouldn’t this be discussed more frequently by televanalysts? Are hockey announcers (aside from the local homers) less melodramatic than other sports? It seems everywhere else, the glove-side/stick-side debate (and the difference based on handedness) would be made into mountains.

I dislike all umpires, referees, field judges, um…PGA officials, tennis line judges, and the guys in Australian Rules Football who rigidly point their index fingers outward after a goal. Nathan is right, WCHA refs really suck. They all suck.

I also dislike all French Canadians and left-handed hockey goalies. But I do like making blanket generalizations.

Did Bobby Cox get ejected after arguing the call?

If you want the kid to not be a train wreck you invest the money and give them an $11/week allowance.

They don’t have the opportunity to burn it all away, and they’ll be set for life in case they aren’t famous anymore after age 20…
