Baseball vs. Football: RIP, George Carlin

As noted in a previous commenting thread, comedian George Carlin has passed away at the age of 71. You’ll likely be seeing plenty of tributes — perhaps even the clip we’re putting up — in several places today. But we couldn’t resist showing off perhaps his greatest contribution to the world of sports and comedy: the differences between baseball and football. Funny and true. Enjoy.

Very appropriate tribute. I’m not a huge Carlin guy but there’s no denying his genius or his contributions to comedy.

I can’t believe Carlin was only 71. The guy looked like he was 71 in 1990. I guess all that swearing ages you quickly. He was the original [Redacted}.

Swearing can’t make you look old but mountains of coke sure can.

Like using the F-bomb, can Randball “curve your spine, grow hair on your hands, and bring us, God help us, peace without honor”? Copy the RIP for Mr. Carlin.
