Worst Madden QBs ever

As we’ve discussed to exhaustion here, there is a list for just about everything. If there wasn’t, sports talk radio would probably cease to exist. So when we are passed along one of these lists, we are often wary and cautious. Last night, though, Rocket passed along a list with a twist. Sure, plenty of people have tried to quantify the best players in various sports video games (Madden, Tecmo Bowl, etc.), but what about the worst? Shouldn’t they get their due? So, with apologies to anyone who doesn’t like lists, and particularly to former Gophers quarterback Cory Sauter, we give you IGN.com’s list of the 10 worst QBs in Madden history. Full explanations are on the link. The list is right here:
10. Corey Bramlet
9. Jeff Brohm
8. T.J. Rubley (special place in every Vikings fan’s heart)
7. Todd Husak
6. Casey Weldon
5. Jared Lorenzen
4. Cleo Lemon
3. Tory Woodbury
2. Cory Sauter
1. Wally Richardson
Since we know a lot of you are into time-wasting, we thought we’d open up the floor to a discussion not only of this list but other “worsts” in video game history. First nomination: worst NHL ‘93 goalie: Kirk McLean, Vancouver Canucks. We pulled him in favor of Kay Whitmore every time. We still have nightmares about the “McLean Sprawl.”
